A relaxed photography experience

I’m a Hackney based photographer who takes pride in building relationships with my clients so I can get the best out of them in front of the camera. 

Whether you need a professional portrait or something more intimate with your family, your time with me will be easy to be yourself, and together we can create timeless pictures that you will forever feel proud of.

I love and understand people, so making them feel good with my photography feels natural to me. I’ve always especially been good with children (even more now I have had my own son) and I understand how to create a positive environment for kids to help capture wonderful family moments. 

My other love is interiors, and my background in art and design means I understand how to photograph space, which has led me to work with many property professionals, restaurants and bars. Getting the beauty and uniqueness of interior spaces is a skill in itself and I really enjoy the process.

My story - who I am and why photography?

I came to London in 2004 for a holiday. I quickly fell in love with this beautiful multicultural city - and I never left! I settled in Hackney which is still my home, and after years of working in management, I began wondering why I never went into professional photography, a hobby that I admired so much. So, inspired by my creative surroundings in my adopted home, I decided now was the time to get serious. 

I began by shadowing professional wedding and portrait photographers as well as photo journalists with ties to my home in Poland. This led to me having work exhibited there, as well as my photographs being published in some newspapers. 

I knew then I had something to build on, and I made it my life.

My style

I take my inspiration from the natural beauty of people’s faces, from our surroundings in nature, and also from elegant interior design. My photography has hints of modern fine art, and I love to play with light to elevate my pictures.

My qualifications

As a member of the Master Photographers Association (MPA), I was very proud to have received four highly commended awards for monthly critics in the fields of portraits and commercial. In 2018, I won a Merit award in 34th Annual Master Photography Awards 2018 in the Child Portrait category in recognition of outstanding photographic skills and excellence. In October 2021, I have been featured as Shutterturf's top portrait photographers in London.
