1. About these Terms
These Terms & Conditions set out the general terms applying to this website, enquiries and photography or motion services provided by Alicja Korbinska trading as Alicja Korbinska Photography.
They are intended to work alongside the documents issued for individual commissions rather than replace them.
Depending on the project, these may include an approved quotation, Photography & Motion Services Agreement, Standard Image & Motion Licence Terms, Project Licence Schedule / Image Licence Certificate, Consumer Cancellation & Early Start Notice, Homeowner / Property Permission and any project-specific written agreement.
Those documents deal with the detailed terms applying to the particular commission.
Where a project-specific term has been expressly agreed in writing and differs from these general website Terms, the project-specific term will take priority.

3. Website Information, Enquiries and Quotations
Information, prices, packages and examples shown on this website are provided as general guidance and may change from time to time.
A website enquiry does not create a booking or reserve a photography date.
The exact services, deliverables, fee, timing, expenses and intended image or video use will be confirmed in the quotation and applicable project documents.
A booking becomes confirmed only when the booking requirements stated in those documents have been completed and confirmation has been given by Alicja Korbinska Photography.
4. Photography and Motion Services
The detailed terms applying to a commissioned project — including payment, retainers, cancellations, rescheduling, shoot preparation, additional work, creative approach, image selection, editing, delivery, storage, RAW or working files, delays, force majeure and liability — are set out in the Photography & Motion Services Agreement and any project-specific quotation or written amendment.
Any material change to the agreed scope may result in a revised fee or timetable and should be agreed before the additional work is carried out wherever reasonably possible.
5. Consumer Bookings
Where a Client is acting as a consumer rather than for business purposes, additional statutory consumer rights may apply.
For qualifying distance or off-premises bookings, this may include a cancellation period. Where applicable, these rights and any request for services to begin during that period are explained in the Consumer Cancellation & Early Start Notice.
Nothing in these Terms or any other project document is intended to exclude or restrict a consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
6. Copyright and Image Licensing
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in a signed written copyright assignment, copyright in photography, video and other original visual material created by Alicja Korbinska Photography remains with Alicja Korbinska.
Payment for photography or video services does not by itself transfer copyright.
Clients receive permission to use final delivered work under the applicable Standard Image & Motion Licence Terms and any Project Licence Schedule / Image Licence Certificate.
The licence normally begins after the agreed project fee has been paid in full.
Only final delivered material is licensed unless otherwise agreed.
Independent use by another company, supplier, contractor, project partner or other third party must be covered by the applicable project licence or separately agreed with Alicja Korbinska Photography.
7. Website Images and Content
Unless otherwise stated, photographs, video, written content, branding and other original material displayed on this website are owned by or licensed to Alicja Korbinska Photography.
Website content may not be copied, downloaded for commercial use, reproduced, republished, sold, licensed or otherwise commercially exploited without permission.
Photographs, video or other content from this website must not be scraped, supplied to datasets or used for AI or machine-learning training, synthetic-image generation or style replication without prior written permission.
Normal sharing of a link to a publicly available page on this website is permitted.
8. Private Properties and Homeowner Permission
Where photography or filming takes place at a private home or another location requiring permission, the commissioning Client is responsible for ensuring that appropriate access and permissions are in place.
A separate Homeowner / Property Permission may be required for residential projects.
Any agreed privacy restrictions, publication restrictions, embargoes or limitations on portfolio use will be handled in accordance with the applicable project documents and permissions.
Property permission and copyright licensing are separate matters. Permission to photograph or publish a property does not automatically give another business the right to use photographs or video commercially.
9. Photographer Portfolio Use
Alicja Korbinska Photography may use selected commissioned work for portfolio and promotional purposes where permitted under the applicable Services Agreement, Licence Terms, homeowner/property permission and any project-specific restrictions.
Private, confidential, embargoed or restricted projects will be handled in accordance with the written terms agreed for that project.
10. Privacy and Personal Information
Personal information collected through this website, enquiries, contracts, galleries, residential permissions, licensing and project administration is handled in accordance with the Alicja Korbinska Photography Privacy Notice published on this website.
The Privacy Notice explains what information is collected, why it is used, how long it may be retained, when it may be shared and the rights available under UK data protection law.
11. Website Availability and External Links
Reasonable care is taken to keep the information on this website accurate and available, but continuous or error-free access cannot be guaranteed.
This website may contain links to third-party websites or services. Alicja Korbinska Photography is not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices or terms of independent third-party websites.

14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction in relation to disputes, except where mandatory consumer law gives a consumer the right to bring proceedings in another appropriate court.
