Case Study: Bespoke Doors by Denleigh | Interior Architecture Photography in Warwick Square, London

Photography by Alicja Korbinska | Hackney, London-based Photographer

In the heart of Warwick Square, London, I had the pleasure of photographing a striking set of bespoke internal doors and handles by Denleigh—a brand known for elevating architectural detail with craftsmanship and character. This session wasn’t just about taking photos; it was about capturing the precision of traditional British joinery in a real luxury home. This is where interior architecture photography becomes storytelling.

A Focused Brief: Doors That Deserve Attention

Denleigh approached me with a clear vision: they wanted to highlight their luxury bespoke doors as a standalone feature within a high-end interior. The bespoke door — matte, panelled, and elegant — sat perfectly within a space of ornate cornicing, muted sage walls, and curated artwork. The interior was calm, confident, and full of character.

Coordinating with the Homeowner

Before the shoot, we worked directly with the homeowner to set expectations. Every detail was considered — from shoot timing to styling boundaries — so that the session was smooth, respectful, and minimally intrusive. A relaxed homeowner means a better outcome.

Setting Expectations with the Client

Denleigh needed usable content with lasting value. From the start, I made the process simple and transparent:

  • A focused shoot emphasizing one design feature.

  • A proofing gallery from which the client could choose their final images.

  • Finished edits delivered in my signature style.

  • A set of raw video clips capturing natural movement and light, ready for their marketing team to repurpose into reels, stories, or short-form video.

This approach gives clients more control over their content and extends the life of each photoshoot.

The Photoshoot: Detail, Light, Atmosphere

Once on site, I worked with the existing light and layout, highlighting textures, architectural symmetry, and the relationship between the door and its surroundings. The goal? To capture not just the product, but its place in the room. This is what creative doors photography means: beautiful interior features captured in real homes, not just showrooms.
