My Work on the Walls: Photographing Urban Creation’s New Office in Bristol
Urban Creation’s office featuring wall art made from my photographs of their serviced apartments and student accommodations.
There’s nothing quite like walking into a brand-new office space—clean lines, fresh light, and that unmistakable buzz of a new chapter beginning. But stepping into the new Urban Creation HQ at 62 Park Street came with a personal surprise: my own photographs printed large and proudly displayed as wall art throughout the space.
It’s not every day your work becomes part of the environment it was hired to capture. Seeing my images not just featured, but framed into the physical identity of the office, was a huge moment of pride—an unspoken “thank you” from a client I deeply value.
A Creative Partnership That Keeps Growing
Urban Creation and I go back a while. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing their beautiful serviced apartments and smartly designed student accommodations for some time now. They’ve always approached property development with creativity and precision, and that shows in everything they do—including their new office.
Working with them is a dream. They’re one of the kindest, most down-to-earth, and genuinely fun teams I’ve worked with. And when they called me in to shoot their new HQ, I knew it was going to be something special.
Behind the Photoshoot: Planning, Travel, and a Proud Collaboration.
This shoot took thoughtful planning. We coordinated schedules, aligned on the design vision, and picked a day that worked best for the team. It was great to reconnect and photograph the space while the atmosphere still felt fresh and full of energy.
Once I delivered the proof gallery, they ended up choosing more photos than the package included—a clear sign they were thrilled with the results. I also sent over some raw video footage to help them show off the space even more dynamically.
Design Built to Inspire
The welcoming reception and waiting area at Urban Creation’s Bristol office.
The new space at 62 Park Street is more than just a functional upgrade—it’s a showcase of thoughtful design, built for collaboration, growth, and creativity. It was brought to life by a stellar group of professionals:
🏗️ Shu Architects – For the modern, light-filled design that defines the new space.
🧠 Box Twenty Consulting Engineers – For the technical finesse that supports the structure.
🧱 Weaver Demolition Ltd – Part of Urban Creation’s in-house team, handling construction with care.
🔧 Champion Build – For the hands-on building expertise that brought it all together.
Each of these teams played a role in creating a workspace that not only looks incredible but functions seamlessly for the people inside it.

A Gallery Within the Office
But what made this shoot truly memorable? Walking through the office and seeing my photographs—taken across various Urban Creation properties—displayed as large-scale prints on the walls. It was like a private gallery, woven into the workspace. These pieces added warmth and personality to the interiors and, for me, marked one of the proudest moments of my photography career.
